*Wanderlust*

wan·der·lust
/ˈwändərˌləst/
 noun
noun: wanderlust::
           a strong desire to travel.

I can't help but have a connection with this word. I love to travel! There is no certain place I need to be traveling to, or a certain amount of time, I just simply love it. We could be going to someplace only a few hours away and I'm already hooked. I grab my phone, my headphones and my portable charger and I'm good to go. I am a proud wanderluster! (new word?)

My love for travel has always been present but it really began in 2010-2011, my first year of touring choir. I traveled to Canada my first year and I was lost in the adventure from day one. After that my choir proceeded to travel to places such as New York, California, and the last trip I attended with my lovely choir family was to Europe. In between those summer tours I also took a few trips on my own. One being to Africa and a few others to Haiti.

Needless to say I'm 19 and have traveled around the world and back again! It has been an amazing experience and I praise God every day that He has given me these moments to enjoy His creation and His people all around the world!

If you know me or my family, you'll know that yesterday (August 15,2016) we left on an amazing trip. We are going on The Great American Loop! This will be a 10 month trip on our 32 foot Bayliner house boat. As you can imagine, my adventurous spirit has certainly kicked in! I'm so excited to see all of the new places and, of course, revisit some of the old places along this journey. AND who better to travel with than your family?! Pretty cool huh!

So, here's to all my fellow wanderlusters, may you travel to your hearts content! (Don't worry, if you can't travel you may live vicariously through my future posts about our trip!) To see more about our trip and to keep up to date don't forget to follow us on FaceBook at Wilsons On The Water and also check out our blog at WilsonsOnTheWater.blogspot.com! Happy traveling my friends :)
