5 Things I Need To Thank My Dad For

Image
"My father gave me the greatest gift anyone could give another person: He believed in me." Dear Daddy,          There are so many things I could thank you for. The list would be so long that you'd probably fall asleep after the first 20 paragraphs. And so, knowing your love for reading is not as strong as mine, I have shortened my list to the top 5. These are from the bottom of my heart, and I hope you enjoy reading it :) So, here we go, 5 things I'd like to thank you for! I love you!     Sincerely,  Your 1st Pretty Girl 1) Showing Me What True Love Is I have watched the love you have for mom my entire life. You never fail to tell her how much you appreciate her and care for her. You have shown me the unfailing love of not only a husband, but also a father. You have loved me since you first saw me as well as AnnaMay, Ella and Mia. You are such a great example of the Father's love for us. You also have shown me love for other things, su...

If Jesus Were To Knock, Would You Open?

I think everyone would click on the title of this blog and mentally answer, “Well of course I’d answer!” But, as willing as we are to say that, would we really? Would you just go right up to the door and open it? Catching Him in an embrace and thanking Him for coming? Many of us would LOVE to, without a doubt, reply to the question above with this answer! Willingly allowing Jesu...

"If you are the oldest child, be honored. It means that you were so awesome that your parents tried to duplicate." I haven't always been the oldest. I was once an only child. Eleven years I was spoiled and had my parents all to myself, and then.....the original three became the crowded six.    The first to come along was Anna May. She was born November 27, 2007. She had fiery red hair and as time has gone on we've realized that it matches her fiery personality. She and I definitely push each other's buttons, but when it's all said and done she can make my heart melt with her dimples and her passion amazes me. Not to mention she makes a pretty good extrovert sidekick for the times I need to talk to someone, I can usually just send her in to do it for me. The next to come along was Ella. She was born September 22, 2009. She was and still is our little pookie. She also happens to be my mini me, which means that although she is sweet and caring, she can al...
