A lot of people write about music. They write about how much they love the sound of it, how good the singer is or maybe even about how cute the drummer or guitarist is. I've read quotes upon quotes based off of lyrics that have meant something to someone throughout their life or how a singer has inspired them as a person. But, very rarely do people write about their in-depth relationship with music. How it truly changed their lives or kept them going through the rough patches of life. Well, I'd like to change that. So, here is my story...or rather here is the story about the music in me. It started when I was younger, a little crooked tooth, crazy haired girl. My dad was really the one that started my passion for singing. If anyone knows my father they know that he basically survives off of three main things. 6 Things I Need To Tell My Mom

Growing up we have ups and downs, good days, bad days, horrible days, amazing days. And through it all there is always one person (besides God and of course my dad) who has been there through it all. My mom. So here are 6 things I need to tell my mom. 1) You really are my best friend. Throughout life I've had many girls I have called my "best friend." You've been there to help me when a friendship was hard or difficult. Laugh with me at the funny memories and cry with me through the sad ones. Early on in life I always saw you as someone who knew about my friendships but never someone who I could have a friendship with. BOY! Was I wrong or what? Throughout all of these "best friends" only a few have remained and one of those is you. I never realized how much you were truly my best friend until a few years ago. It escalated even more when I went to Haiti for my mission trip and felt the presence of your absence. I can never thank you enough for the love...
